Cardiac metastases are formed by the spread of cancer from other organs to the heart. Cardiac metastases are 40 times more likely to occur than a primary tumor of the heart. The most common cancers to spread to the heart are lung, breast, lymphoma, melanoma, mesothelioma, kidney, ovary, and stomach cancer.Please recall that the Prenuvo scan is not designed to evaluate the heart.*Prenuvo scans are not designed to evaluate the heart, however some cardiovascular conditions can be detected.
