They are benign are do not spread to other parts of the body.Traumatic bone cysts tend to occur in the jaw and facial bones after trauma.Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABC) are typically found in children and adolescents. They are composed of numerous blood-filled channels which creates an expanded lesion within the bone. The cause of these are unknown.Unicameral bone cysts (simple bone cysts) are cysts or cavities that form in the bone and are filled with fluid. They are considered latent or active depending on their location.
